Questions hospitals ask before they switch

Short, direct answers about scope, data, onboarding and compliance.

What is CareLite?

CareLite is a cloud-based hospital management software designed primarily for hospitals and nursing homes up to 30 beds, covering patient registration, OPD, IPD, emergency, billing, corporate billing, collections, doctor payouts and management reports.

Which hospitals is CareLite built for?

Nursing homes, day-care hospitals and small multi-speciality hospitals up to 30 beds that need billing and financial control without running a large HIS implementation project.

Does CareLite include pharmacy, laboratory or EMR?

No. Phase 1 covers administration and finance — registration, OPD, IPD, emergency, billing, corporate billing, receipts, doctor payout, reports and audit. Pharmacy, laboratory, radiology and clinical EMR are separate modules.

How long does onboarding take?

Masters, tariffs, companies and doctors are loaded through standard Excel templates, so a hospital can move from account creation to live transactions without a prolonged implementation exercise.

Is CareLite ABDM compliant?

CareLite is built for ABDM integration — ABHA capture, ABHA linking with UHID, consent workflows and full transaction logging. ABDM certification and production approval are separate NHA processes and are not claimed until completed.

Can two hospitals see each other's data?

No. Every record carries a hospital identifier that is enforced at the application and data layer, users operate only inside their own hospital, and platform access is restricted and logged.
